How to ensure confidentiality

Most of us work in a cubicle and it is easy when people come by to see what is on your computer screen or on your desk. Some things you work on are confidential and are not for everyone's eyes (including your co-workers). Here are some simple steps to ensure confidentiality:

  • File documents, don't leave them lying around
  • Turn paper over on your desk
  • Don’t talk to others about confidential information
  • Clear screen and lock computer

Always lock your computer when you leave your desk area!
