Patricia Robb has been in the administrative field for over 30 years. Currently she is the Owner and President of Boomerang Virtual Assistants, a website providing administrative services. She is also an Administrative Support to the Board of Trustees of a mental health hospital. Previous to this position she worked for the Chief of Staff at the same hospital and the Chief Nursing Executive. She was also a Sr. Executive Assistant and Corporate Secretary for a not-for-profit organization and has also spent many years as a legal assistant in various law firms in Ottawa. She worked as a secretary for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and as an admin assistant at an Oilsands Plant in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Patricia is a current member of the Association of Administration Professionals. She was a past member for many years of the Ottawa Chapter of IAAP and has held the position of membership chair and board secretary. Patricia also regularly conducts minute-taking webinars. She was a hairdresser for 5 years, which she credits in helping her enhance her people skills and in the art of small talk.
